Not every loan project qualifies for a Courtesy Deposit. Here’s how to evaluate your readiness and what Deposit Capital looks for.
Courtesy Deposits are powerful tools, but they aren’t available to just anyone. Our approach is selective — because the strategy only works when the underlying deal is strong.
Here’s what we look for:
- Bankable Project: Your proposal must be solid. This includes clear financials, a defined use of funds, and a realistic path to repayment.
- Professional Presentation: You need more than an idea. We require pitch decks, executive summaries, and sometimes third-party assessments.
- Engaged Borrower: We work best with clients who are proactive and responsive. If you’re committed to your project, we’re committed to helping.
- Timing: If your loan is already approved, a Courtesy Deposit won’t help. This tool is used during underwriting to influence the bank’s decision, not after the fact.
We perform an upfront review before anything is placed. If your project isn’t ready, we’ll tell you — and often, we’ll help you get it there.
